I'm stepping in here VERY late to this blog hop, but what a gift to hear how Lenny ended up becoming such a blessing to your life when you least expected it! Love how you shared this. Keep writing, Dee!
I moved from a neighborhood to a rural house at the end of a dirt road and now have to drive to town to retrieve my mail from a PO Box! I miss the days of interacting face to face with a mailman. Sometimes I forget the big impact that small interactions can have. Thanks for sharing this lovely story!

How sweet that despite the distance of your mailbox you still had hime coming to the door!
What a beautiful story! You captured his impact on you and the neighborhood so well!

This is such a sweet story. And YES: "However, you never know what can become of a situation." <3
This is so sweet. I, too, love our mailman Arnold, though Lenny sounds like a gem in all ways!
